The process of using different cognitive processing tools explores how knowledge can be shared in practices differing from formal Western education. Participants explore their thoughts through art, poetry, and words, and discuss how counter-narratives in the classroom can be used to uplift Indigenous voices and create a more accessible curriculum.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will explore how different expression mediums can portray concepts in more meaningful ways.
2. Participants will learn how social work programs can adapt to create greater educational accessibility for neuro-divergent and marginalized populations.
3. Participants will explore how counter-narratives highlight the experience of Indigenous peoples across mediums, and the role of trauma and Critical Race Theory in social work practice.
