Recommendations From Korean Adults for Enhancing Mental Health Support Within Immigrant Families

Attendees will learn about the unique immigrant-related and cultural stressors impacting mental health conversations between Korean youth and adults and identify culturally responsive strategies to enhance mental health support within Korean immigrant families in the South.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the unique stressors of immigrant families impacting parent-child conflict.
  2. Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the cultural stressors impacting mental health conversations between Korean youth and adults in the South.
  3. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify culturally responsive strategies to enhance mental health support within Korean immigrant families in the South.
