Tae Park, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Before embarking on a career in social work, she gained experience in administrative positions within higher education in South Korea. She completed her Master of Social Welfare in University of Seoul, Korea in 2010 (with an MSW Equivalency Certificate Obtained from CSWE in 2018) and then worked at several non-governmental organizations as a director of humanitarian aid programs overseas and as a program evaluator in child welfare before completing her Ph.D. at the Indiana University School of Social Work in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Seoul in Korea. Her research interests are centered on three key areas: 1) Expanding access to higher education through online education; 2) Environmental justice in Social Work; 3) Eco-transformational leadership style in social work.
