Swasati Handique is a PhD student and Graduate research assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington of Social Work. My research interests focus on older adults in palliative care, end-of-life care, and geriatric oncology. My research explores the effects and experiences of older adults who have chronic health conditions like cancer or dementia/Alzheimer’s. I work in a combination of quantitative and qualitative research in my current work involving increasing health equity for the aging population in life-limiting circumstances.
