Assessing MSW Students’ Attitudes Toward Research to Support Evidence-Based Practice

A longitudinal analysis examined MSW students’ attitudes toward research to determine if attitudes changed over time and if students’ sociodemographic characteristics were differentially associated with change. Results indicate that participants reported more favorable attitudes toward research over time, which was predicted by respondents’ age, gender, ethnicity, and prior research exposure.
