Nayma Mendieta is an LMSW who graduated May of 2024 from the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma. As a graduate research assistant, Nayma Mendieta has actively contributed to her academic community, engaging in research projects that further enriched her understanding of social work issues alongside Dr. Noyori-Corbett. She has worked directly with diverse populations, specializing in areas working with domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking victims, and more recently, with the homeless population. These experiences have allowed her to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing her clinical and interpersonal skills.
