Anita Frohlich is dedicated to advancing mental health and emotional well-being for everyone. With a multicultural background and international legal education, she developed a keen awareness of the intersections between health, social justice, and legal frameworks. After obtaining her LL.M. degree, Anita discovered her passion for building on her background of legal advocacy and promote healthcare and social welfare for everyone. To that extent, Anita immersed herself in clinical research, seeing it as a means to advance medical knowledge while advocating for marginalized communities. Her commitment to social justice led her to enroll in the MSW program at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work with the goal of becoming a clinician-scientist in the area of health social work. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, Anita also became part of the IPEP Distinguished Scholars Program which promotes collaboration among professional students to transform the way healthcare is delivered. As an IPEP Distinguished Scholar, she volunteers for community health initiatives. Anita is determined to make enduring contributions to the well-being of individuals and communities.
