Dr. Jeoung Min Lee is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work. She received her MSW at SoonSil University, M.S. at Michigan State University, and her Ph.D. at Wayne State University. Her research interest includes bias-based bullying and cyberbullying. Minority adolescents are at an elevated risk of bullying and violence, which are also associated with risky behaviors, such as substance use and suicide. Thus, she plans to examine how bias-based bullying affects minority adolescents, including racial and ethnic minorities and sexual minorities. For teaching, Dr. Jeoung Min Lee's primary role is to motivate students to learn. As an instructor, she will aim to create a learning environment where students can explore the materials and topics and effectively apply them in practice.
