Indigenous wisdom is crucial in the attainment of environmental justice. Indigenous knowledge is rooted in nature-based lifeways and been marginalized based on its lack of affiliation with Western orientations. This presentation details an ethical dilemma that arose when a participant shared tribal values in a qualitative study in the USA.
