LGBTQ+ focused community sport clubs provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ adults to participate in sport. This presentation synthesizes literature related to the experiences of LGBTQ+ adults in LGBTQ+ focused community sport environments and discusses how social workers can utilize this context to promote LGBTQ+ rights and well-being.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to understand how participation in LGBTQ+ focused community sport impacts LGBTQ+ adults.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify possible pathways for how social workers can leverage LGBTQ+ focused community sport to boost the health and human rights of LGBTQ+ populations.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to determine future directions needed to improve LGBTQ+ focused community sport to make these spaces safer and more inclusive for all LGBTQ+ adults.
