Dr. Tarek Zidan is an Associate Professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) in Indianapolis. He worked for several years, serving clients with severe mental illness, intellectual/ developmental disabilities, and immigrants and refugees. His research interests include Muslim/Arab Americans’ mental health and well-being. He received his BSW from the Higher Institute of Social Work in Aswan, Egypt, MSW from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and Ph.D. in social work from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He teaches research and practice evaluation in the MSW program.
