Tonya Michelle Tucker, Ph.D, MSSW, CSW

Dr. Michelle Tucker serves as the Dean of Carver School of Social Work. She began her career in higher education 17 years ago and has also served as the Associate Dean, MSW Program Director and Assistant MSW Director during her time at Campbellsville University. She obtained her BSW from Campbellsville University, MSW form University of Louisville and her Ph.D. from University of Louisville. She is a licensed Certified Social Worker in Kentucky. Prior to academia, Dr. Tucker worked in child protective services in Kentucky for 7 years. Her research interests are around outcomes assessment, curriculum development and leadership.
