Will Ward is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in school-based, congregational, and community settings. He continues to work as a therapist in his community specializing in children and adolescents. He is also an adjunct instructor at the Garland School of Social Work at Baylor, teaching generalist and advanced practicum courses and courses in the clinical specialization. Will studies how religion and spirituality have both harmed and been a source of support for LGBTQ folks. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams Baptist College, an M.Div. from Truett Seminary at Baylor University, and a Master of Social Work from the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor, and plans to complete his Ph.D. in Social Work at Baylor in December 2024.
