Kelly Richmond-Moore (she/they) is a non-binary, able-bodied, queer human and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in school-based mental health and higher education, primarily practicum education, for the last 15 years. Kelly earned her DSW degree from Simmons University, focusing on inclusive social work education with LGBTQIA+ populations. Kelly is an Assistant Program Director/Assistant Clinical Faculty with the MSW program at the University of the Pacific. They also serve as a council member of CSWE's Council on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (CSOGIE). Kelly has worked in various leadership capacities within secondary education, coordinating mental health support services, including individual and group therapy, and providing clinical supervision, management, and oversight to social work students and trainees across multiple disciplines. Kelly’s areas of interest include social justice advocacy, inclusive practices in practicum education, adolescent mental health, LGBTQIA+ social work students, transgender and gender-diverse youth, and policy advocacy.
