Dr. Micki Washburn is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work. Her research and teaching interests include health disparities related to mental health and substance misuse in historically minoritized communities, applications of technology in behavioral health assessment and treatment, mindfulness based clinical interventions for mental health and substance use disorders, social policy related to SOGIE with an emphasis on child welfare involved youth and families.
