Dr. Joy Patton is a licensed master social worker in Texas and currently holds the position of Associate Professor within the Social Work PhD program at Our Lady of the Lake University. Her extensive community consulting experience spans across the areas of nonprofit training programs, grant writing, community needs assessments, program evaluations, and organizational strategic planning. As an accomplished researcher, Dr. Patton's interests include multiple areas of social work such as online education, children and families, trauma, and adolescent/family violence.
