Channel Lowery, MSW, LGSW is a doctoral student in the School of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests center on Black social workers' self-care practices and organizational experiences. Her practice experience includes housing, community integration, and mental health services. As a practitioner and researcher, Channel's work seeks to change and disrupt systems of oppression and domination by understanding and incorporating a diversity of thought and practice into micro and macro systems.
