Dr. Kyoung H. Lee is a full professor in the School of Social Work at Wichita State University. He earned his Ph.D. in political science and MSW from West Virginia University in Morgantown. His research interests encompass aging, mental health, and health disparities among vulnerable minority older adults, including Asian immigrants, Native Americans, and residents of assisted living. Dr. Lee teaches courses in international social work, policy and practice on aging, social work research, and social welfare policy for undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, he served as a medical social worker for immigrant elders for several years.
