Dr. Annette Clarke Jones is an assistant professor at Fort Hays State University, where she teaches in the social work department. Born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto, Canada, Clarke Jones has traveled and worked throughout Asia, Africa, Canada, and the United States. Her area of research focuses on immigrant populations, particularly “the Jamaican Barrel Children.” Dr. Clarke Jones has worked for one of Canada’s largest private mental health agencies, LifeWorks, formerly known as Morneau Shepell, as well as Canada’s largest public health system, Alberta Health Services.She is a published author and researcher.
