I am a cisgender White female, originally from Crema, Italy. I live in South Portland, Maine where I have resided for the past 24 years. My career has been entirely in healthcare practice, leadership and currently healthcare regulatory. I have worked in language access programs, clinical practice as medical social worker first, and manager of social work in a large health system. Currently I have transitioned into Government and Regulatory Affairs for the same large HealthSystem in Maine. I obtained my undergraduate BA in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine Suma Cum Laude in 2009 and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine in 2013. I obtained my Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston in May 2024.
My passion is in health equity and access, and I am an advocate for genuine allyship among White practitioners and scholars.
When I am not working, I spend my time with my 7 years old son Alessandro. I love to travel and be active in general.
