The session will explore social and racial justice issues inherent in program design and delivery choices. How do we create meaningful dialogue about program development and implementation rooted in our profession’s social justice values? How do we work through the ethical dilemmas of university-based programming versus for-profit education models?

Learning Objectives:

Critically analyze internal and external drivers of online programming specific to your institution.
Identify value driven online design and delivery as they relate to social justice frameworks.
Extend understanding of criticisms, considerations, and opportunities in partnering with for-profits companies to ensure social work voice.
