Together we will explore the role of women, especially women of color, as mentors and leaders as we face the crisis of climate change with increasing injustice. Voices from silenced communities enrich our ability to impact change. Mentoring others to engage in change is our responsibility as social work educators.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will appreciate the need to honor and respect the voices of communities often silenced.
Participants will engage diverse pathways to mentoring for leadership.
Participants will be able to examine the intersection of diversity, justice, and climate change.
