This workshop informs and invites participants to discuss ways in which students of social work programs in state and private universities can resist conservative anti-ADEI legislation and how faculty and staff can assist students in mobilizing and supporting resistance efforts.
Learning Objectives:
Identify ways to organize undergraduate and graduate students to resist attacks on ADEI.
Analyze the ways organizations can increase anti-racist efforts in conservative states.
Discuss the effectiveness of CSWE EPAS (2022) recommended strategies for faculty and leadership to denounce anti-ADEI legislation.
