Dionne Brown-Bushrod, LCSW-C

ASWB Director of Education Programs

Dionne Brown-Bushrod is a licensed certified clinical social work professional with over three decades of contributions to the profession. She currently serves as Director of Education Programs at the Association of Social Work Boards and is the owner of Prosperity Redefined LLC. With a 25+ year career, Dionne has excelled as a psychotherapist and trainer specializing in social work ethics, intimate partner violence, and anti-oppressive practices. She also created a private practice certificate program.

Her previous roles include leadership, management, and direct service in adult mental health, juvenile justice, school social work, and public health, where she significantly contributed to program development and inter-agency collaborations. She holds an MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and a BA in social work and psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
