Nicole Cantoni is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Stockton University in Galloway, NJ, who graduated with her PhD in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nicole specializes in areas of both teaching and research and has engaged in the creation and implementation of simulations for social work education. In addition to her work on pedagogical simulations, Nicole also has an interest in the implementation of Animal-Assisted Intervention as a method to lower mental health treatment stigma, as well as DEI education for university students. She currently is starting more simulation-based projects, with an emphasis on BSW student education.
