Julie Beans, MPH

Julie Beans (Yup’ik and Oneida) is a public health researcher who has worked with Southcentral Foundation Research since 2014. She’s contributed and led several community-based research projects that aim to improve health outcomes for the Alaska Native and American Indian community in Alaska through research, while maintaining community protections. Ms. Beans works to bring the voice of community members to the forefront of health research to ensure research directly benefits the community.
