Nicki Williamson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) and BSW Field Faculty. Overseeing the two-semester senior practicum, she supports students’ application of classroom knowledge and professional skills into workplace settings. She works to expand the social work profession into underserved and rural communities by fostering new community partnerships. Nicki teaches the S481 and S482 Field Practicum Seminar courses as well as trains and supports the instructors of the same courses on the Bloomington campus. She is actively involved in the IUSSW Diversity Council, having previously served as Secretary. Prior to joining the faculty at IUSSW, her clinical career focused within the healthcare industry, particularly in areas of prevention and mental wellness.
