Julie Hunt is an Associate Professor of Social Work and Director of Field Education at Belmont University. In addition, she provides clinical supervision to master level practitioners preparing for their Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) credential.
At Belmont, she has developed and taught many courses including Human Diversity, Practice with Individuals, Spirituality & Social Work Practice, and Professional Skills of Social Work and Field Seminar.
Developing and refining curriculum, in pursuit of developing best practices, is a passion of hers and the foundation of her scholarly work. She believes the best teachers are those who are always seeking to learn. This passion is evidenced in her publications and presentations on various aspects of teaching and learning with a focus on experiential learning.
