Uche, a dedicated scholar and practitioner in the field of social work, she holds an MSc in Social Work with a focus on Families and Children from the University of Stavanger, Norway, along with an MSc in Gerontology from the University of Southampton, UK, and a BSc in Social Work from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Uche brings a global perspective to her academic pursuits.
Before embarking on her doctoral journey at the University of Alabama, she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for three years at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. During this time, she actively engaged in teaching and contributed to the academic community, gaining expertise in areas such as Child Welfare. Uche's academic interests and areas of expertise is in Child Welfare, Ageing, Ubuntu-based Social Work, and Disability Issues.
