Laura DiMarcantonio, PhD, MEd

Assistant Dean of Admissions

Laura currently serves as Assistant Dean of Admissions at Rutgers University School of Social Work, one of the largest schools of social work in the US. Laura holds a bachelor of science in public relations and a master of education in adult education from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and a PhD from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Laura has worked in higher education enrollment management for over 20 years, beginning her career in the Office of Admissions at Virginia Commonwealth University and later serving as Director of Admissions and Strategic Recruitment at the State University of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Laura has presented nationally and internationally on admissions and recruitment best practices. She was also a Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody Professional Institute and earned a Certificate from the Harvard Admissions Institute.
