Dr. Kiley Liming is an Associate Researcher, Senior at the University of Kansas, School of Social Welfare and currently serves as the Principal Investigator for a federally funded, multi-site initiative. Her scholarly work centers on the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and social determinants of health among vulnerable populations (i.e., foster care and children affected by parental substance abuse), and the design, delivery, and evaluation of services and evidence-based interventions to address the complex needs of parents, children, and families. Dr. Liming has worked on multiple Regional Partnership grants across two U.S. states, has made several contributions to the peer-reviewed literature on ACEs and early childhood interventions, and has presented nationally and internationally on her topic areas. Dr. Liming has experience around: establishing comprehensive research protocols; identifying staff needs, challenges, and barriers to programmatic implementation and data collection; and selection of evidence-based parenting-skills interventions for parents, children, and families affected by substance use with mental health concerns.
