Grace Yi, PhD MSW, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at California State University Fullerton. As a scholar specializing in gerontological social work, her primary focus centers on addressing social and health equity issues related to aging, particularly concerning ethnic minority older adults. Her ongoing research explores the domains of dementia care, end-of-life, and unjust treatment agasint older adults within the family and neighborhood contexts, employing a community-engaged research approach. Dr. Yi is deeply committed to gerontological social work education. In her current role at CSUF, she actively contributes to the Adult Projective Service MSW training programs granted by the California Department of Social Services, serving as a project coordinator. Dr. Yi earned her Ph.D. from the Indiana University School of Social Work, where she also pursued a minor in economics. She holds an MSW from Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea, with a concentration in policy practice.
