Sung Hyun Yun, Ph.D (he/him/his)

Sung Hyun Yun, an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, teaches courses in generalist social work practice, research, internship seminars, and abuse/violence in the family and community. As a social work scholar, he focuses on anti-oppressive perspectives, human empowerment, and pro-feminist frameworks within a global and interdisciplinary context. Dr. Yun’s research aims to generate knowledge about people in need and societal challenges while developing effective treatments and interventions applicable to social work practice. His work encompasses research projects involving sexual violence (offenders and survivors), interpersonal violence, mental health, addiction, and psychometrics.
