Dr. Simon Chan teaches Narrative Practice and Social Work Practice in the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. Originally from Hong Kong, he has over 30 years of experience in psychotherapy, family therapy practice, and research. He utilizes that expertise in his teaching and research projects on social work practice, especially narrative practice. He is also interested in family practice and research. Dr. Chan is also the managing editor of Research on Social Work Practice and serves as an editorial board member for the Psychology of Men and Masculinities, Qualitative Social Work, and Australian Social Work.
