Melissa Singh, Ed.D., LCSW, MS-HSA is a University of Southern California, Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Associate Professor in Practicum. She is an NASW Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker, a Certified Pharmacy Technician and an experienced clinician in EMDR and Field Traumatology. In 2016, a fellowship that she co-led won the Award for Innovative Teaching in Social Work Education from SAGE/CSWE for Educating Social Work Students for Macro Practice. In 2017, Dr. Singh was awarded the Hutto Patterson Distinguished Faculty Award for excellence in teaching, and in 2023 the Advancing Social Change Through Community Practice (ACOSA) Outstanding Practice Educator award.
