Whittni L. Holland, LMSW is a fourth-year doctoral student at Howard University’s School of Social Work. Her research interests includes exploring the intimate partner violence experiences of Black women, with a special emphasis on rural communities and the criminal legal system. She is also passionate about utilizing culturally responsive, community-based interventions rooted in Black Feminist/Womanist principles to intervene and prevent intimate partner violence in Black communities. Whittni is steadfast in her mission to contribute to the advancement of social justice as it relates to improving the lives and opportunities of Black people, especially Black women.
