Oyindamola Jemilawon is a Nigerian-American PhD student at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work from Harlem, NY. She earned her BA in Psychology at Brooklyn College and her MSW at Wurzweiler before moving on to the PhD program. Oyindamola began her social work journey working in Child Protection and has done so for the past 7 years. She is the secretary of the YU chapter of the National Association of Black Social Workers and a Sachs Impact Fellow for the upcoming school year. Her research focuses on policy and planning in child welfare.
