Assistant Professor, Kelechi Wright serves in the department of African American Studies a the University of Houston. Her research focuses on Structural Violence and Benevolent Harm. She focuses on populations that experience high levels of institutional surveillance and researches the impact such phenomon has on those communities. Dr. Wright is also passionate about Social Work education.
