Crystal Campbell, LCSW is an experienced clinician, social worker, and child welfare practitioner with over twenty years dedicated to improving the lives of children, families, and the community. She is the BSW Field Education Coordinator. She will also serve as a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Child Welfare Education Collaborative. As an LCSW with experience in child protective services, she champions systemic change and empowers individuals, children, and families to access resources and navigate complex situations. She has a yearning to aid in the process of cultivating critical thinkers, empathetic practitioners, and changemakers for the field of social work. She has a dedication to mentoring, innovative clinical approaches, and preparing future equity minded social work practitioners. Her research interests are in advancing cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to create a more just and inclusive child welfare system for all. In addition to, how cultural trauma, misogynoir, and the glass cliff Impact black women in leadership roles.
