Dr. Sarah Moore is an Associate Professor at the University of North Texas who focuses on international social work practice and education. Her research encompasses refugee and immigrant populations, survivors of torture, and the Ethiopian immigrant community’s experience with HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Moore has taught at the BSW, MSW, and Ph.D. levels, including courses on research methods, program evaluation, practice with diverse populations, social policy, and global social work. She was a Fulbright-Hays recipient to Norway in 2022 and Colombia in 2024 and currently serves on the Board of the Global Awareness Society International and on the CSWE Commission on Global Social Work Education.
