Rhonda Peterson Dealey, DSW, LSCSW, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Social Work at Washburn University. She has been a licensed clinical social work practitioner for more than 25 years, working with individuals and families across the lifespan in the arenas of child welfare, healthcare, and school social work. Her research interests and academic expertise include mental health and well-being, particularly for children and for clinicians, and the integration of theory and practice. She is grateful every day for the lessons she learns from her clients and her students. She is author of several articles and presentations and the co-editor of the book, Discovering Theory in Clinical Practice: A Casebook for Clinical Counseling and Social Work Practice.
