Chao-Kai Huang (MSW, MA) is currently a doctoral candidate at the School of Social Work at Arizona State University. He works as a graduate research assistant at the Global Center for Applied Health Research (GCAHR), where he has been involved in intervention projects focusing on youth substance use prevention (Keepin' it REAL) and nationwide parenting interventions (Parenting in 2 Worlds). His research interests primarily revolve around intervention and implementation studies, the well-being of Indigenous populations, and health disparities. His dissertation explores the childhood experiences, cultural engagement, and parenting practices among urban American Indians in Arizona, with the aim of making meaningful contributions to both academic and practical understanding of these critical issues.
