Professor Twyla E. Smith has almost 34 years’ experience in the Health and Human Service sector. Professor Smith teaches the practicum education and macro social work practice courses. She also lectures on poverty and facilitates simulation-based interdisciplinary education opportunities at her university. Professor Smith's research interests include: poverty, income inequality, and invisible disabilities.
