Shug (they/them) holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Chicago and an MSEd in Education and Social Change from the University of Miami. A former elementary and middle school teacher and home- and community-based service provider, they are a current MSW student at the University of Pennsylvania broadly interested in abolitionist social work practices, queering and transing social work praxis, and the interplay between mental and physical health.
