Pearl Bryant is a licensed clinical social worker and board-approved supervisor. Pearl received her bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University in 2007 and her master's in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work in 2009. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Social Work program at Stephen F. Austin University.
Pearl is the Founder of Pinnacle of Purpose Counseling + Consulting, PLLC and the co-founder of Sisters in Social Work, Inc. a nonprofit agency in Galveston County that focuses on the black motherhood experience. Pearl is also an adjunct faculty member in the social work department at the University of Houston -Downtown.
Recently, Pearl became a Research Fellow with the Young Widowhood Institute, studying widowhood by suicide and the grieving process for African American women.
Pearl's commitment to closing the gap in access to mental health care for women of color is unwavering. Her passion for social work education and research is evident in her work. In her free time, Pearl enjoys being in nature, laughing with her daughters, family, and friends, gardening, and being a plant mom.
