Currently Robin serves as the Chair of Social Work and Healthcare Services at the University of Findlay, she has held this position since 2000. She graduated from Ball State University with a BSW in 1993, The Ohio State University in 1996 with an MSW, and the University of Findlay in 2016 with a Doctorate in Education. Robin completed an additional graduate degree in Social Work Research and Program Evaluation at Wayne State University in 2014. She currently serves on the Phi Alpha National Honor Society National Board, where she recently completed two terms as president. As a current member of CSOGIE she has served as the Chair of the Membership and Recruitment committee, serving two consecutive terms with a recent re-appointment to this council. She currently serves as a site visitor for accreditation through CSWE. At the university level, she is the faculty advisor for both Phi Alpha National Honor Society and United, the gay straight alliance at the University of Findlay. Robin is a Safe Zone trainer, LGBTQIA+ Advisor Council Member as well as the Title IX Appeals Committee. Areas of research include the coming out process for LGBTQIA+ college students, sexual identity formation, BSW student attitudes towards LGBTQIA+ individuals, cross-cultural analysis of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the impact of social networks and resiliency on minority populations.
