Dr. Rebecca Mirick (she/her) received her MSW from Boston University and a PhD in social work from Simmons University. She is an associate professor and the BSW Program Coordinator at Salem State University in Salem, MA. Dr. Mirick's clinical experience is in outpatient mental health working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her research has focused on suicide prevention, including topics such as postvention services for school, suicide assessment and intervention training for clinicians, and trauma-informed suicide prevention.
