Helen R. Fischle is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Alabama A&M University, Huntsville, Alabama. She is a native of Reading, England. While working in higher education for over 24 years, Mrs. Fischle has held various administrative positions and has also co-published articles related to intimate partner violence. She is passionate about issues that pertain to promoting healthy relationships, empowering practitioners and community leaders to work effectively with women of color, and using technology to support social work education.
