Mi Jin Choi, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Texas State University. Her current research focuses on: (1) factors associated with the provision of child welfare services for maltreated children (e.g., race/ethnicity, family economic status) and the intersectionality of those factors; (2) developmental outcomes of children, primarily those who are exposed to violence; (3) child welfare workforce development. She is a Principal Investigator of the Title IV-E Child Welfare Partnership at Texas State University.
