Rhonda Dixon is a doctoral student in the Joint PhD program at North Carolina A&T State University and the University of NC at Greensboro. Her research interests include policy, college student success, intersectionality theory, and systems theory, among other topics. She has served in many roles as a clinician, including working as a crisis line advocate, a clinical school social worker, and alongside attorneys at Legal Aid of NC. She is now focusing her time on pursuing her doctoral degree to provide research that will impact how others approach all aspects of health—whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. Through her work, she aspires to contribute to the creation of equitable and inclusive educational environments that foster success for all students. Once completed, Rhonda wants to combine her research knowledge with her clinical skills to truly provide a holistic approach to care for her clients.
